Everyday Is A New Adventure.

Dear Wind, thank you for blowing all the leaves off the trees and therefore creating ginormous leaf piles that I get to jump in and frolic in. And thanks for making it feel more like fall/winter as well. I love it.

Thanksgiving Break. God is so good.

Well lets see here. This break was incredibly much needed and extremely enjoyable. What made it so enjoyable? All of the following I got to see my 2 best friends who I had not seen in forever. I got to spend time with my family, who I had missed way more than I realized. I got to cuddle with my cats and go ahead and call me a cat lady, I am, I love all my babies. I got to go to Disneyland with my mom and enjoy the holiday decorations. I got to eat home cooked food. I got to go to a spa with my mom and get my nails done. I got to go shopping and buy way more than I needed and deck my closet out for the colder weather. Basically I got to relax, not stress, not worry, and spend time with my family.

And now its back to school. Registered for classes and thankfully got all that I needed. 3 weeks left then its time to relax for 6 weeks. 

Dorm Room Christmas Tree!! No, it is not to early to start enjoying christmas. Decorating this bad boy was a good time. 

Oh Hey Tumblr.

Goodness I have been neglecting my photo tumblr. Time to change that. Well I am still alive! What’s new… ummm… 2 new part time jobs- Eagle Host and a bible study teacher for 3/4 year olds! Added a christian ministries minor, school is the biggest stressor of my life, my dorm room is trying to kill me, i can’t wait for thanksgiving break, I’m still obsessed with ducks, and my crazy hectic life is great! So yes! and this time I promise to say up to date with my blog. Until tomorrow! 

Day 181!

This is my fish. His name is Enrique. And he is probably the most entertaining thing ever. Not only does he get really excited and swim around whenever Chelsea or I go up to him, but he just he has little fish swimming panic attacks and does all sorts of cool things. I felt like sharing him. So, Tumblr followers, meet Enrique.

Day 180!

So I guess I was just kidding about the whole being back thing. When you havent done something for so long, its kind of hard to get back in the groove. But I have been neglected my tumblr for far too long. So I’m going to try and keep posting everyday again. This picture is one I took at the pool at Thousand Pines and I really dig it. :]

Ps- I think I may make another tumblr for things I enjoy reblogging whilst I maintain my photoblog. Yes. Yes I think I shall.

Day 179!

Yup, I’m back. Let me describe camp to you in one word. AMAZING. My summer at Thousand Pines has by far been one of the best experiences I have ever had. There are of course countless stories. But rather then go into that, I feel like sharing what I learned this summer, amongst the trees instead.

What Did I learn?

• God has got it all. He has this wonderful plan for me, and its all under his control
• I am way stronger than I thought I was
• I can make a difference in people’s lives.
• My laugh and hiccups, as embarrassing as they can be, are quite hilarious to others.
• I can overcome exhaustion and physical pain in order to do what I love.
• Dirty feet are to be expected when you live in the mountains and walk around in dirt all day.
• Potato bugs are disgusting. 
• Folding a bounce house is a task that takes about 10 people to complete
• Prayer and time in God’s word is needed every day.
• I can use a knife and not kill myself.
• Working in a fast-paced kitchen environment is absolutely crazy but insanely fun.
• Camp songs will forever be stuck in your head.
• I’m now an expert on backing in cars to places. 
• And most importantly, I learned how to serve and be a servant of the Lord. 

Yeah, my summer was super crazy-hectic-fun-stressful-awesome-fantastic all packed into one, and you can bet that I want to do it again next year. 

Day 178! My night= hot cocoa, lucky charms and tumblr. I’m pleased.
